Jase & Pj Go On A ‘Pie Mission’ To Try Australia’s Best Pie

ALMOST EVERY BAKERY IN ANY SMALL AUSSIE TOWN WILL CLAIM TO HAVE THE COUNTRY’S BEST PIE, BUT WHICH ONE ACTUALLY DOES TAKE THE CAKE? 

THE BAKING ASSOCIATION OF AUSTRALIA HAS HELD THEIR ANNUAL PIE AND PASTIE COMPETITION TO FIND THE BEST PIE IN AUSTRALIA. 

Kyneton’s Country Cob Bakery returned to defend its title of Best Pie 2018, and took it home yet again. 

After winning last year’s competition with a Satay Seafood pie (what?), the Victorian bakery served up a delicious Caramelised Pork and Pepper pie this year, and won!

Think that’s it? Nope! 

They also won the title of ‘Best Seafood Pie’ along with a gold medal for their Curry Beef, plain Mince Beef, Mushroom and Leek, Caramelised Fish and Mashed Potato, Tom Yum, Chilli Con Carne, and Cheese, Kransky and Mash pies. 

But, do the pies live up to Jase & PJ’s high expectations?

The duo sent fan Andrew (AKA ‘Fandrew’) on an incredibly important ‘pie-mission’ – to pick up a highly sought-after pie from Kyneton’s Country Cob Bakery… and maybe a good ol’ vanilla slice while they’re at it.
